Abstract Paintings There is always an initial inspiration: it could be music, some plant life, a shape in Nature, or even an emotion. I generally jot down some words which recall what I am trying to depict, and even colour notes. Once intellectually considered I put that behind me and creativity pulls me into the mesmerising process of painting.
