Description

This is based on "Ich bin de Welt abhanden gekommen." one of the five Ruckert songs by Gustav Mahler: "I am lost to the world, I live alone in my heaven, in my love, in my song". I attempted to show his "withdrawal" from the world in this song, with the soft colours and the distant mountain. (This is painted on a chunky canvas)
