Sold work I have realised that over 20 works displayed here are sold, and hope to mark up which ones very soon.
Exhibitions etc. On July 11, at Sandown Race Course there is a Proms evening in aid of the Princess Alice Hospice. I (with other artists) will be displaying paintings on the railings for people to look at during the picnic time before the music and fireworks. do go along and have a great evening. Other exhibitions in October in Weybridge and December in Knightsbridge. more to come.

New decisions I have been teaching painting to a Day Centre for over 10 years, plus working with University of the Third Age, Adult Educations, Housebound Learners, and withmany private groups and individuals. These have been unique special experiences to me and I hope I will keep in touch with my students. However now I want to concentrate on being a full time artist, to more deeply explore the creative process. This will work from simple ideas based on light and dark, near and far. I love the way I can create huge spaces on a two dimension surface, such as paper or canvas. I want to explore texture in oil, acrylic and watercolour. so watch this space.
Two weeks in Tuscany Taking subjects from the landscape, coupled with life drawing classes at the Tuscan studio, has led into a blending of images. At present I am exploring many ideas issuing from my numerous drawings, paintings and photos taken during an intensive two weeks. I am now exploring my new style which I hope will be up on my web site soon.
