Welcome to ctate.co.uk.... You will find a wide range of subjects from abstracts based on music, to landscapes, and cityscapes. I paint in acrylic, watercolours, gouache, and mixed media. There are some oils on the website although I no longer use them.
New Zealand Paintings These are a record of my Barbican Library exhibition in November 2008. I went to New Zealand for a month in March of that year. I travelled extensively over both North and South Islands and did many sketches of the landscape. I also wrote notes about the places I visited and the impressions of what I experienced. The combination of these formed the basis for the exhibition. A number are sold but enquiries are welcome about any of the others or if commissions required.
